- News: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the owners of the above-captioned certificates of participation (the Certificates) payable under and defined in that certain Trust Agreement, dated as of September 1, 1999 (the Trust Agreement), by and among the City of San Bernardino, the San Bernardino Joint Powers Financing Authority and U.S. Bank National Association, as trustee (the Trustee), that a portion of the outstanding Certificates in the amount of $3,140,000 have been called for prepayment on September 1, 2017 (the Prepayment Date). The Certificates were originally executed and delivered on September 29, 1999. The Certificates to be redeemed are as follows: The Certificates will be payable on the Prepayment Date at a prepayment price of 100% of the principal amount plus accrued interest to such date (the Prepayment Price). The Prepayment Price of the Certificates will become due and payable on the Prepayment Date. Interest with respect to the Certificates to be prepaid will cease to accrue or be payable from and after the Prepayment Date, and such Certificates will be surrendered to the Trustee.
