- News: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Carolina Turnpike Authority (the Authority) has executed a Forward Delivery Bond Purchase Agreement dated August 3, 2017, among Bank of America, N.A. (the Purchaser), the Nort h Carolina Local Government Commission and the Authority (the Purchase Agreement). The Purchase Agreement, subject to certain conditions therein, provides for the sale by the Authority to the Purchaser of its Triangle Expressway System Appropriation Revenue Refunding Bond, Series 2018 (the Series 2018 Bond), which, if the conditions are met, will be issued and delivered on or about December 31, 2018, and the proceeds of which will be used, together with other available funds, to (a) refund certain of t he Authoritys Triangle Expressway System State Annual Appropriation Revenue Bonds, Series 2009B (Federally Taxable Issuer Subsidy Build America Bonds) (the Bonds To Be Refunded), and (b) pay the costs incurred in connection with the issuance of the Series 2018 Bond.
