- News: he Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation (the Corporation) approved a financing plan on December 7, 2017 that includes the issuance by the Corporation of obligations for purposes that include funding the optional redemption of all of the currently outstanding Student Loan Revenue Bonds, Senior Series 2008A-1 and Senior Series 2008A-2 (collectively, the 2008 Bonds) at a price of par, plus accrued and unpaid interest to the date of redemption. This is not a notice of redemption. Any such redemption would be preceded by a notice of redemption. Such redemption of the 2008 Bonds is subject to successful completion of the financing plan, which is dependent upon numerous factors that include receipt of certain approvals under Kentucky law. No assurance can be given that the Corporation will be able to complete the approved financing plan. The Corporation does not currently intend to make available any additional information concerning the approved financing plan prior to completing its issuance of obligations to fund its implementation.
