- News: Pursuant to Section 3.08 of the Trust Indenture dated as of November 15, 1983, between the County of Cook, Illinois (Issuer) and U.S. Bank National Association, successor Trustee (Trustee), to Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, holders of the above-described Bonds may submit to U.S. Bank National Association, Trustee Attn: Default Processing, 111 Fillmore Ave. St. Paul, MN 55107 sealed, written tenders for the purchase of Bonds, upon the terms and conditions specified herein. All Bonds when so purchased shall be cancelled. All tenders must be received by the Trustee at said location on or before 10:00 oclock a.m. C.S.T. on December 6, 2016. No tender received at any other location or after said time on said date will be considered. Enclosed is a tender form which in order to be accepted, must be signed and medallion guaranteed. Do not send your Bond(s) until you have been informed in writing whether your tender has been accepted. Bondholders may tender their Bonds for purchase at a price equal to or less than the Compounded Value, $5,000, per $5,000 principal outstanding. The purchase price paid by the Trustee for any Bond purchased, shall not exceed the Compounded Amount thereof. Subject to the above limitations, the Trustee shall purchase Bonds at such times, for such prices, in such amounts and in such manner as the Trustee in its discretion may determine to acquire and cancel the maximum principal amount of Bonds as may be possible with the amount of money available in the Principal Account or the Redemption Account for such purpose. If Bonds are tendered for purchase in amounts that exceed available funds, the Trustee will give priority to tenders at lower prices, and will select Bondholders with the same tender prices by lot to complete purchases with any remaining available funds.
