  • News: The San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) is considering, and has filed an application with the California Pollution Control Financing Authority (CPCFA) for, an issuance of CPCFAs Water Furnishing Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2017 (the Series 2017 Pipeline Bonds) to refund outstanding CPCFA Water Furnishing Revenue Bonds, Series 2012 (San Diego County Water Authority Desalination Project Pipeline) (the Series 2012 Pipeline Bonds). This transaction may come to market as early as July 2017 or at any time thereafter through a syndicate led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC. The principal amount of the Series 2017 Pipeline Bonds is presently estimated to be approximately $225 million. However, the principal amount, timing, structure and other terms of the Series 2017 Pipeline Bonds remain subject to market conditions and approval by CPCFA. SDCWA reserves the right to change or modify its plans as it deems appropriate. There is no guarantee that the Series 2017 Pipeline Bonds will be issued or that any outstanding Series 2012 Pipeline Bonds will be redeemed.
