- News: THIS NOTICE OF OCCURRENCE OF LISTED EVENTS RATING CHANGES, dated October 9, 2018 (the Notice) has been prepared to satisfy the obligations of the Whittier Utility Authority (the Authority) with respect to its Water Revenue Bonds, 2009 Series A (the Senior-Lien Bonds) and its Water Revenue Bonds, Series 2012 (Subordinate Lien) (the Subordinate-Lien Bonds; and, together with the Senior-Lien Bonds, the Bonds). NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 1, 2018, S&P Global Ratings lowered its long-term and underlying rating on the Senior-Lien Bonds to AA from AA+ and simultaneously lowered its long-term and underlying rating on the Subordinate-Lien Bonds to AA- from AA. This Notice has been prepared to satisfy the obligations of the Authority pursuant to the respective Continuing Disclosure Certificates of the Bonds, executed by the Authority in connection with the issuance of the Bonds, and the requirements of Rule 15c2-12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. As provided in the Continuing Disclosure Certificates, this Notice is being prepared for publication with the Electronic Municipal Market Access, a service of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board. All capitalized terms used herein shall have the meanings set forth in the Continuing Disclosure Certificates.
