• News: On April 15, 2018, the Town inadvertently neglected to wire transfer to U.S. Bank National Association, as Paying Agent, $836,325.00, representing the principal and interest due on that date on the bonds referenced above. The Town had prepared the wire for this amount, but through an oversight it was not sent. When notified by the Paying Agent on April 19th, the Town promptly sent the money to the Paying Agent, who in turn remitted the amount to the Depository Trust Company (DTC), as the registered owner of the Bonds. Payment was made by DTC to bondholders on April 20, 2018. The Town intends to implement procedures to prevent a similar occurrence in the future.
