- News: NOTICE is hereby given that the Counties Transit Improvement Board (CTIB), a joint powers board formed pursuant to the laws of the State of Minnesota, has passed a resolution of its Board of Commissioners, dated June 21, 2017, authorizing the prepayment of its Senior Sales Tax Revenue Note (Hennepin County), Series 2010A (the Note) to Hennepin County (the County). Such prepayment is a condition of the dissolution of CTIB. It is expected that CTIB will prepay the Note in late July 2017. If such prepayment of the Note is made to the County, proceeds of such prepayment in an amount sufficient to defease the Countys General Obligation Senior Sales Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2010E (the Bonds), issued in the original aggregate principal amount of $102,810,000, will be deposited in a defeasance escrow to prepay and redeem the Bonds on December 15, 2019.
