- News: Notice is hereby given that on December 1, 2016, Iredell County, North Carolina (the County) issued its $56,580,000 Limited Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2016 (the Series 2016 Bonds) to refund a portion of the Certificates of Participation (Iredell County Public Improvement Projects), Series 2008 (the 2008 Certificates), dated as of March 20, 2008, executed and delivered by the Iredell County Public Facilities Corporation. On account of the prior payment of the 2008 Certificates that have previously matured, following the refunding transaction, the following are the only 2008 Certificates outstanding under the Trust Agreement under which the 2008 Certificates were issued: Year of Maturity (June 1) Amount CUSIP 2017 $6,300,000 462670 CX6 2018 2,440,000 462670 CY4 2018 3,860,000 462670 CZ1 In connection with the issuance of the Series 2016 Bonds to refund the Refunded Certificates, the Deed of Trust securing the 2008 Certificates was amended to release from the lien of the Deed of Trust all of the school properties securing the 2008 Certificates except for Coverleaf Elementary School. Such release was effected with the consent of the issuer of the insurance policy insuring the payment of scheduled principal and interest with respect to the 2008 Certificates.
