- News: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of certain rating actions in connection with the Bonds. The principal of and interest on the Bonds when due is guaranteed by Assured Guaranty Municipal Corp. (formerly Financial Security Assurance Inc.) (the Bond Insurer) under financial guarantee insurance policies. On March 18, 2014, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) issued a rating action in which it downgraded its rating on the Bonds from AAA to AA. Such rating action is not attributable to the underlying credit of the District, but based on S&Ps rating action in which it downgraded the Bond Insurers strength rating from AAA to AA. Additionally, on August 17, 2018, S&P issued a rating action in which it upgraded its underlying rating on the Bonds from A- to A. In their rating report, S&P attributed such rating action to the Districts improved assessed valuation and trend of strong debt service fund balances in recent years.
