- News: Pursuant to the Continuing Disclosure Certificates executed by the City of San Jos (the City) in connection with the issuance of the above-referenced bonds (the Bonds), the City is submitting a notice of rating change to report a rating change that occurred on January 17, 2018. Bonds as listed on Attachment 1 to this notice are outstanding and insured by National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation (NPFG) (the Insured Bonds). On January 17, 2018, Moodys Investors Service (Moodys) downgraded its senior debt rating on MBIA Inc and the insurance financial strength rating on its principal operating sub onal Public Finance Guarantee (NPFG). A copy of the Moodys report related to this action is attached. Please note that the rating action taken by Moodys with respect to NPFG did not impact the underlying rating of the Bonds, including the Insured Bonds. This notice is provided solely for the purposes of compliance with the Continuing Disclosure Certificates delivered by the City in connection with the above-referenced Bonds.
