• News: In accordance with the requirements of Rule 15c2-12 promulgated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Village of East Rockaway (the ""Village"") is filing a Material Event Notice due to an interest payment delinquency by the Village. On January 15, 2018, the Village had an interest payment due related to the CUSIP numbers indicated below and as a result of clerical oversight the payment was not made until January 19, 2018. It has been the responsibility of the Deputy Treasurers to track and wire debt service payments. In order to rectify the clerical oversight, the Clerk-Treasurer has instituted a two-step process. The ClerkTreasurer has scheduled reminders in her Microsoft Outlook calendar two weeks in advance of each payment due date. For each payment she will confirm with the Deputy Treasurer that the wire transfer is set up in the correct amount and sent out on or before the payment date
