- News: Pursuant to Section 1.4 of the Continuing Disclosure Agreement (the CDA) between Georgetown University and U. S. Bank, National Association (as successor trustee to Deutsche Bank National Trust Company), dated as of April 11, 2007, for the benefit of the holders, from time to time, of the Series 2007C-1 Bonds, please be advised that, on May 24, 2016, as a result of the implementation by Standard and Poors of a new methodology and assumptions for rating jointly supported financial obligations, Standard and Poors downgraded its long-term rating of the Series 2007C-1 Bonds from AAA to AA+. On May 26, 2016, the Letter of Credit supporting the Series 2007C-1 Bonds was replaced with a Letter of Credit issued by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, acting through its New York Branch, and a mandatory tender of the Series 2007C-1 Bonds took place. Upon such substitution, Standard and Poors downgraded its long-term rating of the Series 2007C-1 Bonds from AA+ to AA, and Moodys Investors Service downgraded its long-term rating of the Series 2007C-1 Bonds from Aa1 to Aa2.
